As usual the jet comprises the Honda Iconic ‘Over the Wing Engine Mount’ This unique design and composite fuselage ensures a natural laminar flow of wind around the plane. This plane has a max cruise speed of 782 km/h and a max altitude of 43000 ft. But to obtain the max cruising speed, it has to maintain a flight level of 30000 ft. As it is a lightweight jet, it only has a range of 1547 Nm or 2865 Km.
Avionics Used in HondaJet Elite II
This plane has an ergonomic design cockpit and highly customized Garmin G3000 Avionics Suite. This Avionics boasts the advanced capacity to control and land the aircraft without human intervention in emergency situations also known as the ‘Emergency Autoland’ feature.
Enhanced Pilot Assistance Features
Another impressive facility of this plane is the ‘Autothrottle’ which reduces the pilot workload through automation of power management by analyzing the flight characteristics allowing a more efficient performance from the aircraft. Automated Ground Spoilers are installed on this aircraft which is another unique feature of this jet enhancing take-off and landing performance through the automatic deployment of spoilers upon landing or rejected take-off.
Advanced Stability Systems
The Advanced Steering and Augmentation System provides directional assistance to nose wheel steering for better stability. If the aircraft is in an unstable approach, the Stabilized Approach system monitors the speed and location relative to the programmed approach and alerts the pilots.
